Capitol Hill to hit the links in support of cardiovascular care

Capitol Hill Healthcare is lending its help to raise funds for the Jackson Hospital Foundation. The foundation is holding a charity golf tournament this month to benefit cardiovascular care for patients at Jackson Hospital. Capitol Hill is a corporate donor for the Swinging Fore Healthcare event. It will sponsor a hole on the golf course and provide fun activities and refreshments for participants.

“We participate in the tournament to show the hospital that their priority is our priority and that they can count on us as a partner to help take care of those in need,” said Shannon Randolph, admissions director at Capitol Hill. “They also really appreciate the lengths we go to make the tournament fun for the golfers.”

Sponsor’s golf holes are usually creatively decorated and themed. Capitol Hill’s past themes have included takes on “The Flintstones,” tropical luaus and American patriotism. The tournament is open to the public and will be held August 23 at 8 a.m. at Wynlakes Golf and Country Club in Montgomery. There will be a morning round of golf and an afternoon round.

“It’s a great time for us to join forces with Jackson Hospital and meet with people in the community,” Randolph said.
